Dr. Donald Caslow – Founder

Founder of East Suburban Animal Hospital in 1976.

Although retired from daily patient care, Dr. Caslow continues to mentor our veterinarians and guide hospital standards. His legacy of compassionate, community-focused care remains at the heart of everything we do.

Dr. Cathy Schweingruber

With ESAH since 1991.

Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Schweingruber has a special interest in orthopedics, dermatology, and behavioral medicine.

Her decades of experience make her a trusted resource for both routine and complex cases.

Dr. Charles Yeloushan

With ESAH since 1999.

Graduate of the University of California. Dr. Yeloushan has advanced training in ultrasound and a strong background in internal medicine.

He is known for his diagnostic expertise and thoughtful, thorough approach to patient care.

Dr. Kelly Hullihen

With ESAH since 2000.

Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hullihen has a special interest in emergency and critical care.

Her experience in referral medicine brings an added level of expertise to urgent and complex cases.

Dr. Amanda Zeglin

With ESAH since 2015.

Graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Zeglin focuses on feline medicine, especially managing chronic conditions in senior cats.

She is dedicated to improving long-term quality of life for her patients.

Dr. Olivia Hornacek

With ESAH since 2018.

Graduate of Michigan State University. Dr. Hornacek’s interests include radiology, internal medicine, and surgery.

She is passionate about delivering well-rounded, comprehensive care.

Dr. Stacey Sabol

With ESAH since 2021.

Graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sabol brings years of experience in both general practice and emergency medicine.

Her background allows her to confidently manage a wide range of medical situations.

Dr. Alison Berkebile

With ESAH since 2025.

Dr. Berkebile earned her veterinary degree from Saint Matthew’s University and completed clinical training at the University of Illinois.

She focuses on building long-term relationships with clients and guiding pets through every life stage.
